How to Permanently Delete Your VilleShield Account in the App
You are in full control of your VilleShield account at all times. You can permanently delete your account and all associated records directly inside the VilleShield iOS or Android app in less than 30 seconds:
Step-by-Step In-App Deletion
- Open the VilleShield mobile app and sign in to your account.
- Tap your Profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Account & Plan.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account.
- Tap Confirm Permanent Deletion on the warning prompt to immediately erase your account and sign out.
What Data Is Permanently Deleted
When you confirm account deletion, VilleShield immediately and permanently removes:
- Your user profile (name, email address, and home city settings).
- Your saved Family Circle members and watched cities.
- Your locked LegacyVault medical, financial, and emergency trustee records.
- Your submitted Scam Check history and StreetShield neighborhood reports.
Deleted accounts and LegacyVault entries cannot be recovered once deletion is confirmed.
Request Account Deletion on the Web / By Email
If you have uninstalled the mobile app and wish to have your account and all associated data deleted without reinstalling the app, please send an email from your registered email address to support@villeshield.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. We process all email deletion requests within 24–48 hours and send a confirmation once your records have been permanently erased.
