1. Not a Replacement for 911 or Official Emergency Services

VilleShield is an informational family and neighborhood safety app designed to help loved ones stay aware of local alerts, suspicious messages, and family emergency notes. VilleShield does not replace 911, local police, fire departments, paramedics, or official government emergency dispatch. In any immediate or life-threatening emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency response number first.

2. Community Safety & Anti-Harassment Rules (StreetShield)

StreetShield is built to help neighbors warn one another about genuine physical hazards, road closures, weather emergencies, and local scam activity. By using StreetShield, you agree that you will:

• Post and verify only accurate, good-faith safety hazards in your area.
• Never use community reports to name, target, profile, dox, or harass any individual or private residence.
• Never submit fabricated alerts or misuse community confirmation buttons. Accounts that submit abusive or false reports may be suspended or removed.

3. Scam Check Informational Guidance

Scam Check analyzes suspicious text messages, links, and caller phone numbers to help you and your loved ones spot phishing and impersonation attempts. While Scam Check cross-checks live domain registries and known fraud patterns, no automated check can guarantee 100% certainty. Always verify unexpected payment or account requests by calling your bank or government agency directly using the phone number printed on your official card or statement.

4. LegacyVault Emergency Organizer

LegacyVault helps you organize emergency medical wishes, medication lists, and locations of important family documents for your designated trustees. LegacyVault is a personal family emergency organizer and is not a substitute for a formal, notarized last will and testament, living will, or legal power of attorney. Because your LegacyVault is locked with your private Vault Passcode and 24-character Emergency Recovery Code, please keep your Printable 1-Page Safe Sheet stored in a safe place at home.

5. Account Control & Termination

You may stop using VilleShield and permanently delete your account at any time inside the mobile app or via our Account Deletion page. For questions regarding these Terms, contact support@villeshield.com.
